Michael tapped as panelist for DIVERSITY & Inclusion summit

Michael has been added as a guest panelist for The Plank Center for Leadership in Public Relations’ Annual Diversity & Inclusion Summit.

Held at the Union League Club in Chicago in November, Michael will join leaders from global communications firms, including Edelman, Finn Partners and Havas Formula, to discuss their experiences working in public relations and how they have overcome obstacles in their career.

femdot swings by 107.5 WGCI’s “The Come Up Show”

Femdot stopped by the #312ComeUpShow with Kendra G , Jamal Smallz and talked about how his moving around the city helped curate his music. Following the interview, Femdot introduced his song “0’Something”from his critically acclaimed “Delacreme 2” album.

Michael and Jonathan partnered with the Tau Mu Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated at DePaul University to capture their Spring 2019 Campus Presentation, the prestigious chapter’s first in nearly four years. Held at the famed McGrath-Phillips Arena in Chicago, Ill., O.P.U.L.E.N.T made their grand debut to a community and an arena filled with members of the National Pan-Hellenic Council, university leadership, family, community stakeholders, students, staff and faculty.

Gatorade and john legend
“Three is the magic Number” tribute
to dwayne wade

Michael collaborated with the agency team that spearheaded media relations efforts for Gatorade’s “Three is the Magic Number” Tribute to Dwyane Wade. The video includes music from John Legend and was featured in People Magazine, Ad Age and Cassius.

Michael was a member of the team responsible for launching Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union’s Gatorade Zero commercial. The friendly competition between the couple was featured in Complex, Essence and AdWeek.

Gatorade Player of the Year

Michael assisted with national, sports and local media outreach for Gatorade’s Player of the Year Program. The award recognizes the nation’s most elite high school student-athletes for their athletic excellence, academic achievement and exemplary character.

Michael lynch Featured in Refinery29

Michael was featured in a Refinery29 article where he shared his experiences as a professional and shared some of the lessons he has learned throughout the years in jobs and past internships. Main takeaway? Communication is critical for team success.


Following a monumental 2018 that included a critically acclaimed new album “Delacreme 2” and a performance at Lollapalooza, Femdot ended the year awarding two scholarships to students at his alma mater, DePaul University. From proactive media pitching, the initiative was covered by DePaul University, Chicago Now, iHeart Media.

Michael joined Black Entertainment Television (BET) Corporate Communication to assist with their media relation efforts at the 2018 Soul Train Awards. Focusing primarily on VIP guests and talent, Michael worked with NAACP Image Award Winner and host Laz Alonso, as well as Grammy Award Nominee Al B. Sure. The results included placements in NBC, Essence, and Heavy and generated more than 25 million impressions.

Crystal stair project

Michael recently signed on to oversee the Crystal Stair Project’s media relations efforts, including social media, influencer engagement, and brand marketing. Founded by Jordan Culpepper who is currently working at L'Oréal in their Management Develop Program, the project is designed to explore the impact media is having on how black and brown boys’ perceive themselves and their identities.

Michael TEAMS WITH the obama foundation for Chicago pride 2018

Michael joined the Obama Foundation to walk in Chicago’s annual Pride Parade to honor and celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community.

To promote their “Ultimate Study Break” campaign which focused on increasing awareness among college students in the Chicagoland area, Michael teamed up with AT&T and their agency partners. In addition to hosting live events - Michael designed content for social and digital platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
